What really sets it apart
4K monitors at 240 Hz do exist. 4K monitors at 240 Hz with 2000:1 contrast and unit calibration to ΔE below 2, far fewer. It is that combination that makes this model interesting: it does not ask you to choose between gaming and image work.
- Nano IPS Black, 2000:1. Twice the contrast of a conventional IPS panel. On a dark theme or a night scene, black stops being grey.
- 99% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB, 10-bit. A billion colours, with no banding on gradients.
- ΔE below 2. Below 2, the eye no longer distinguishes the gap between the requested colour and the displayed colour.
- Dual refresh mode. 240 Hz in 4K, 480 Hz in Full HD for games won on reflexes.
- 1 ms GtG, FreeSync and G-Sync Compatible. No tearing, no trailing.
- DisplayPort 2.1 and two HDMI 2.1. Enough to feed the full refresh rate, and to connect two consoles in addition to the PC.
A finish with nothing of the gaming monitor about it
That is the second notable point. Anodised aluminium chassis machined by CNC, silver finish, ultra-thin 5 mm bezels on three sides, 23.5 mm thick, 5.25 kg. No black plastic, no RGB lighting, no aggressive angles. Placed next to a MacBook, it does not clash — which is rare in this category.
The ergonomic stand offers 120 mm of height adjustment, tilt and 90-degree swivel; the VESA 100 × 100 mount is part of the package.

Is the P27ZB suitable for image work?
Yes, that is in fact its particularity: 99% DCI-P3, 10-bit, Nano IPS Black contrast of 2000:1 and calibration to ΔE below 2. Few 240 Hz monitors offer that colour level.
What is the 480 Hz mode worth?
It lowers the resolution to Full HD to double the refresh rate, aimed at competitive games. In 4K, the monitor holds 240 Hz, which remains the top of the market.
Does it work with a MacBook Pro M5 Pro?
Apple documents support for 4K at 144 Hz on the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, unlike high-refresh 5K which is currently a problem under macOS 26. The P27ZB therefore stays within the range stated as supported.
Does it have speakers?
No. A 3.5 mm headphone output is present, as is a USB hub. The budget is concentrated on the panel and the chassis.
Which graphics card to make use of it?
